I hope this message finds you well and that the festive season brought joy and happiness to you and your loved ones. I am reaching out to express my sincere gratitude for joining us during the “Turn Down the Tension in Tough Talks” webinar on December 20th. It was a pleasure to have you with us, sharing insights and strategies to elevate our conversations.

Reflecting on the sage conversations concept we explored, I am curious to hear about your experiences. Have you had the opportunity to implement the ideas of listening to understand and the art of asking questions over the holiday gatherings? The idea that everyone should feel heard, understood, and appreciated is simple yet profound, and I wonder how it resonated with you and your family interactions.

Did you notice a difference when you consciously focused on understanding rather than advising or countering opinions? Sometimes, the true gift isn’t in the exchange of presents but in the exchange of truly heartfelt dialogue.

We understand that putting these concepts into practice can be challenging, especially in the midst of emotionally-charged family discussions. But remember, each attempt is a step forward in nurturing healthier and more meaningful relationships.

I am genuinely interested in your story — whether it’s a success you’d like to celebrate or a challenge you faced. Your feedback is valuable, as it helps us to tailor our resources to better serve you and the community of communicators who strive for growth and harmony.

Please feel free to share your thoughts, and if you have further questions or require additional support on this journey, do not hesitate to ask.

Stay tuned for the next email in our series, where we will dive deeper into specific techniques that can aid you in mastering sage conversations.  I would also like to offer you a more in depth guide that gives examples and strategies to handle difficult conversations and behaviours as well as giving feedback.  You can download the guide HERE.

Thank you once again for being an integral part of our webinar. Together, let’s continue to turn down the tension and turn up understanding in every talk.

Warm regards,

Diane Nelson, Coach & Facilitator

P.S. If there’s a particular challenge you’re facing that prompted your interest in the webinar, I’d be curious to hear about it and perhaps provide some tailored advice. Feel free to share!
